DJ Mr. Wilson

BIOGRAPHY

Jordan Wilson better known by his stage name DJ Mr. Wilson is an American DJ, turntablist, & record producer born and raised out of Sacramento, California. Mr. Wilson earned his degree in the art of commercial music and music business at American River College, where he built a friendship with recording artist Quette Daddie. After collaborating, the two discovered they shared the same passion and drive for music and entertainment, and have been booking gigs and recording music in Northern California and in Kansas City, Missouri since 2008.

When not on tour, DJ Mr. Wilson spends his days banging out beats, arranging music and honing his craft: scratching records and mixing. The Nor CAL native is largely unknown outside of the music industry, with his unique brand of motion picture sound production. DJ Mr. Wilson was involved in the production of the 2011 release of “Loose Cannon” by Quette Daddie and the self-produced album “The Menace”.

DJ Mr. Wilson's credits include; opening shows for Snoop Dogg, Tech N9ne, Brotha Lynch, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, (hed) P.E., Big B, Twiztid, Potluck, Andre Nickatina, Smoov-E, Mistah FAB, The Pack, ABK, Critical Bill, Canibus, The Dogg Pound & Warren G. In mid-2011, Mr. Wilson is releasing his first studio compilation, “The Menace”, a joint venture deal with indie label JRW Music Group. With music success under his belt, DJ Mr. Wilson continues to frequently collaborate with independent artists, mixing live scratching over 808 drum kicks and touring with hip-hop recording artist Quette Daddie.
